Board Members
Denise Cerreta is the founder of One World Everybody Eats Foundation. She is a graduate of Ohio State University (BFA) and The International Institute of Chinese Medicine (MS). She started the community cafe concept in 2003 and since has dedicated herself to the mission of ending hunger and building community. Denise is also passionate about the ‘pay what you can’ model where everybody, regardless of financial means can find a place at the table or an event! Dr. Brian Meacham (r) is a long-time activist in Utah. He is a full-time materials scientist and divides his time between that work and overseeing financial, legal and operational aspects of the Salt Lake community kitchen. Hence, the One World Everybody Eats foundation was a perfect outlet for mixing his skill with the scientific method and his desire to work at a practical effort at ending world hunger.
Debbi Casini Klein – Debbi has been in the television production industry for over 25 years. She has a passion to end hunger and food insecurity and is excited to be part of The One World Everybody Foundation. Debbi lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and two children.
Frederick A. Miller is the CEO and Lead Client Strategist of The Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group, Inc. Frederick was named one of 40 Pioneers of Diversity by Profiles in Diversity Journal (August/September 2007) and he was noted as one of the forerunners of corporate change in The Age of Heretics (Currency Doubleday, 1996, 2008). In 2007, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Organization Development Network and he is the co-founder of the Institute for Inclusion. He and Judith H. Katz have co-authored “Be BIG: Step Up, Step Out, Be Bold” (Berrett-Koehler, 2008) and “The Inclusion Breakthrough: Unleashing the Real Power of Diversity” (Berrett-Koehler, 2002). He is managing editor of The Promise of Diversity (Irwin/NTL, 1994).
Mariana was born in Veria, Greece and now lives in Thessaloniki. She teaches English to private students and is an English proficiency examiner for Michigan University. In 2010, Mariana helped establish the Everybody Eats Challenge in Greece and continues to spread the ‘Community Cafe’ concept throughout Europe. She is very excited to be on the board.
