The Difference
The Difference a “Family” of community kitchens are making in the world:
Together, all of the community kitchens serve approximaetly 820,000 meals a year to community members.
This number grows by approx 2,250 meals per day.
In addition we have also helped countless numbers of people gain food service training through our volunteer opportunities.
* Based on an average of 50/meals per day for all community kitchens.
One World Everybody Eats: The Documentary Film
One World Everybody Eats is being covered by documentary filmmaker Alice Eliott.
Alice started Welcome Change Production company in 1991. Their 2002 film, The Collector of Bedford Street was nominated for an Academy Award.
Alice became interested in Denise and One World Everybody Eats while dining at the cafe while on a trip to Salt Lake City in 2005. She has been following and filming events in our history ever since. This seems to be an ongoing story that Alice is committed to tell, and depending on funding sources, to put into production.
Welcome Change Production is committed to giving a voice to people and stories that are traditionally not depicted on film and TV. Alice hopes to lead social change by revealing the BIG stories hidden in the human heart.
